We are scaling rapidly and looking for an experienced customer marketer to join the team. The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving Homebot’s customer advocacy and lifecycle marketing strategy. This will be a highly cross-functional role — collaborating with the rest of the marketing department as well as Customer Success, Product Education, Sales, and Product teams.

This is a full-time position based in our Denver, CO office. (Currently, due to COVID-19, we are working remotely and will continue to do so until September 1, 2021. Until then, you can work remotely in another state, but will eventually need to be in the Denver area once we reopen. When we return to office, we will have a hybrid work model in place that will allow employees to split their time between working in-office and from home a few days a week.)

What You’ll Be Accountable For:

  • Lead cross-team and cross-department advocacy initiatives that elevate brand awareness and create a database of testimonial candidates
  • Own the full case study and testimonial process including coordinating remote testimonial shoots, traveling to interview customers, writing final customer stories, and getting approval to publish
  • Optimize customer onboarding campaigns, regularly running tests, analyzing campaign data, and iterating on campaigns to improve performance and results
  • Identify high-risk churn customers and use automation to drive proactive outreach by CS team
  • Map out customer journeys for different segments to guide communications strategy, driving customers to the right educational content at the right time
  • Execute continuous automated, point-in-time customer marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, feature adoption, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Work with Product Marketing and Product Education to develop content for monthly user newsletters, announcements, and engagement-driving email campaigns
  • Maximize engagement with customer advocates across digital channels and through events to drive new business

Collaboration:

  • This role will report to Director of Brand & Product Marketing
  • You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales
  • You will be joining a Marketing team of 5

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in marketing with at least 2 years in a customer marketing role
  • Experience synthesizing data to create customer journeys from the ground up
  • Experience building marketing campaigns that drive customer behaviors at key points in the customer journey
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and workflows
  • Excellent writing skills, particularly in the context of email communications
  • Ability to look at the big picture, while simultaneously executing on projects across different customer segments and internal stakeholders
  • Passion for listening, understanding, and sharing customer stories

Bonus Points:

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • You are familiar with marketing to mortgage loan officers
  • Experience using Hubspot
