This is a full-time position based in our Denver, CO office. (Currently, due to COVID-19, we are working remotely and will continue to do so until there is a vaccine widely available. Until then, you can work remotely in another state but will eventually need to be in the Denver area once we reopen)

Targeted Base Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00. For additional details on our total benefits package, please review the section “Why Homebot?” at the end of this job description.

What You’ll Be Accountable For:

  • Lead security planning and execution for the company at the direction of the CTO
  • Work with engineering leads to ensure practices, code and infrastructure are always secure
  • Partner with IT resources to ensure security practices are followed across non-technical angles
  • Proactively identify, prioritize, and communicate security risks to people across the company
  • Educate engineers, leaders, and employees about security and best practices
  • Relentlessly innovate, collaborate and learn to discover opportunities to get more secure
  • Execute on and improve existing security and compliance policies
  • Lead SOC II program
  • Partner with external consultants on technical execution and policies
  • Work with our compliance resources on third party management (vendors to Homebot), customer vendor management (Homebot as vendor) and business / industry compliance due-diligence processes

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in tech
  • 4+ years experience with hands-on infrastructure or development roles involving security
  • 4+ years experience in information and security compliance
  • Experience with modern SaaS Cloud-based companies
  • High technical aptitude
  • Significant experience around multiple domains - Application Security, Infrastructure Security
  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Communication skills and ability to communicate with different levels of the organization
  • Ability to calmly and effectively lead in high pressure situations
  • Direct experience with SOC II, ISO and/or HIPAA
  • Professional certifications preferred (CISSA / CISA / CISM)

Bonus Points:

  • You are familiar with Real Estate and/or Mortgage Lending and the different stakeholders involved with homeownership
